The CutThroat
Cafe is great for American cuisine. A nice quaint
atmosphere with good food for any appetite. Service is very fast and the prices are very reasonable! A trout fishing
theme, but not a fish dish to be found on the menu. Across from the Chinese Village Restaurant.
The Coney Island Originally located on West Colfax in Denver, then in Aspen Park for a number of years and now just west of Bailey. One of the few places where you can eat a hot dog inside of a hot dog.
Hog Heaven has take out or offers dine-in. Wonderful BBQ pork, beef, brats & great side dishes. (We normally get a pound of pork & BBQ sauce to bring home and eat on "grocery store bought" hamburger buns.)
If
you like Chinese, you'll find great food at the Chinese
Village Restaurant! Turn right immediately at the bottom of Crow Hill going into Bailey. Across from the Cutthroat Cafe.

Activities:
Hiking:
***ASK us about our "secret" place we call "The Boulders" that is a short hiking distance behind 63 Getaway. The creek disappears beneath gigantic granite boulders that seem entirely out of place!
You are only minutes from great hiking trail heads in the
Pike National Forest. You'll
see those signs as you drive to 63 Getaway. We have hiked the
Rosalie
Trail, the Tanglewood
Trail and the Meridian
Trail, all close by. MORE

Fishing:
If you are a fisherman there is no doubt that you have heard
of South Park. Even back in the old days, South Park fishing
and hunting had reached the ears of people in distant lands.
They came from as far away as England and Ireland to enjoy
the plentiful bounty of the Park. South Park is the name and
fishing is the game. MORE about

Skiing:
You are 1.5 hours from Breckenridge Ski Resort. Take US-285W
to Fairplay, then Hwy. 9 over Hoosier Pass to Breckenridge. Breckenridge is an old mining town and it and the ski resort have plenty of summer activities.
You are also only 2 hours from Winter Park. Take US-285W East
toward Denver to Conifer, turn right there to Evergreen to
I-70 and follow a map from there. MORE
