From DIA (Denver International Airport - airport Code DEN) it is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes and 77 miles.

******** THE SCENIC ROUTE (To Pine Junction) ********

From the Colorado Springs Airport, follow the directions to exit the airport terminal to US-24 going west. US-24 makes a short "dog-leg" onto northbound I-25. Take Exit 141 to US-24 west towards Manitou Springs/Pikes Peak and Woodland Park.

Go north (right) on Colorado 67 towards Deckers. When you get to Deckers Highway 67 turns sharply to the right. Do not follow it. Instead go "straight" across the bridge onto Colorado 126 towards Pine/Pine Grove and US285 at Pine Junction. There is a stoplight at Pine Junction. Turn left (west) onto Southbound US285.


****** THE MAJOR HIGHWAYS ROUTE (To Pine Junction) ******

From the Colorado Springs Airport, follow the directions to exit the airport terminal to US-24 going west. Turn onto I-25 going North towards Denver. As you approach Denver, take C-470 going east/north. Take Southbound US285 west towards Bailey.

You will probably want to get your groceries in Aspen Park/Conifer. There are Safeway and King Soopers (Kroger) stores.

The first stoplight you will come to since leaving Colorado Springs is at Pine Junction. Continue driving west on Southbound US285.

At the next stoplight (4 miles from Pine Junction) turn right onto CR-43A (County Road 43A.) There is a Conoco Loaf and Jug gas station with a Subway Restaurant at the light. Drive 0.4 miles and CR-43A becomes CR-43. Drive 6.3 miles.

Stay STRAIGHT/RIGHT fork to go onto CR-47/CLARK RD (paved.) Drive 2.1 miles to Stagecoach DR on the left by a set of community mailboxes. Turn left onto Stagecoach DR (unpaved) and go straight up the hill. Wind left, then right for 0.5 miles from CR-47 to Sunset Dr.

Turn right onto Sunset DR. We are the first house on the left but drive to the second driveway. (Note the "ONE WAY arrows.")
